April 2009 - Ask Kim Column

Dear Kim:
We would like our five-year-old child to attend a school that is better than the one our residence is zoned for, but we don't want to move from our current home. So, we are interested in buying a "fixer-upper" and renting it out. We would keep the water bill of the "fixer-upper" in our name for school registration purposes. There is one specific "fixer-upper" that we have in mind and have left several letters for the homeowner but have received no response. We do not believe the homeowner is regularly residing there, but our letters and her mail is being picked up a few times a week. Will she sell her house to us? If she does, will it be in time to register our child for school? Will our child be happy attending this school? Should we hold our child back one grade?
Claudia C., 34,
Houston, TX

Dear Claudia:
First of all, you need to find another fixer-upper, because it is very unlikely that the current owner of the home you have your eye on will respond to your efforts to contact her. In addition, this home would require a frighteningly expensive amount of work before you could even consider renting it out. Your angels recommend that you forget about this property, or any other one in that neighborhood, because your child would not be happy in the new school. Plus, it is not the safest elementary school that I have ever channeled about-nor, is it the cleanest!

You are, however, correct in intuitively sensing that your son will make a move. Your angels tell me that for the academic year 2010/2011, your child will attend a private school. What's more, his angels DO NOT recommend that he be held back next year. He would feel punished, no matter how supportively you introduced the idea. He's incredibly bright, socially exuberant, and ready for first grade! Please allow him to spread his wings.

Dear Kim:
I'm wondering if you might be able to help me and my friend, Brenda, with an issue we've been having lately with our boss. For instance, we've both been experiencing what we believe to be our boss' sexual energy coming in to each of our bedrooms at night whether we awake or asleep and basically having his way with us. Now he's started doing it at work. We've tried the grounding exercises and have been told to "set up decoys" but we're still experiencing this energy. Neither one of us can stand this guy, but he keeps persisting. It's like a spiritual sexual harassment. Please provide any guidance you can. This is becoming a huge mess and is very draining.
Kristi H., 30,
Houston, TX

Dear Kristi:
I'm not sure what "setting up decoys" would mean—or how that could be productive—outside of a hunting blind, or a CIA secret operation. In any case, because you're such a smart gal, I'll bet that you've already figured out what's going on. You and Brenda are the office hotties. Because your boss isn't gay, and he has eyeballs that work, he fantasizes about both of you. You and Brenda are so intuitive that you're able to psychically pick up on these signals...loud and clear!

The boss won't assault either one of you, or manipulate you into an unseemly situation; he simply chooses to spice up his dull, less-than-inspiring sex life with vivid fantasies...starring Kristi and Brenda! Fantasizing isn't illegal, nor could it be considered harassment by the letter of the law. The only way you can stop him from fantasizing about you is to get another job. Once you're out of sight, you'll be out of mind. I realize that it's ridiculously unfair and inconvenient in the current US economic climate, but if you want to remove the boss from your bedroom each night, you need to remove yourself from his daily field of vision.

Dear Kim:
I have two medical questions that I haven't been able to solve. According to the podiatrist, I have sesamoiditis, which causes pain under the big toe. I am not sure if it is the sesamoid bone or the tendon that is causing pain. I had a cortisone shot in my foot, hoping it would solve the issue. I am unable to walk barefoot and the spot is extremely painful if touched. I am hoping not to have to have surgery to eliminate the pain. Next, a few years ago, I hurt my right shoulder while lifting a heavy box at work. I had a couple of cortisone shots as well as acupuncture. Is there anything that I can do to help with my shoulder relating to flexibility and occasional pain? I plan to retire from work in June, but wanted to utilize my medical benefits if needed. Interesting fact is that it is my right shoulder and my right foot with the issues. I really enjoy the classes that you are sharing with us this year, and you are providing so much valuable information. Life makes more sense now.
Kathryn E., 56
Wichita, KS

Dear Kathryn:
Thank you for your kind comments about my teleseminars! And while I do not have a medical license, the information I'm about to relay about your physical ailments/injuries is based upon what your angels are telling me. The problem with the toe involves the tendon and several nerves. I do not "see" that surgery is going to help; but, instead, could make the condition even more painful. In fact, your angels believe that there is no procedure in the practice of Western-style medicine that is going to mend or repair the condition, or even alleviate it. Cortisone is not really useful because its affects will wear off, and you cannot tolerate higher dosages of the drug.

You need to work with an experienced holistic healer who uses energy to heal/cure ailments and injuries. Call or email and I will provide the names of several who are very good. You'll be able to go barefoot soon! The shoulder is a different matter. You tore your rotator cuff. Although it's a very slight injury, it limits your mobility and hurts, doesn't it? Your angels recommend that you see an orthopedic specialist because they are unconvinced that a holistic healer can help with that situation. If you've already visited with an orthopedic specialist, go see another one for a second opinion. Your angels tell me that while acupuncture will address some of the symptoms, and cortisone helps, you need a cure. Surgery might be in order. As each day goes by, you risk tearing it more. The right side of your body is the male side. Have you been frightened or nervous about the transition facing you once you leave your job? Ponder that, so you can avoid any other right-side injuries or ailments!

Dear Kim:
I have cysts in my breasts before (about 6 years ago) and they have been fluid-filled and benign; however, I have discovered a few more. Are these new cysts in my breast fluid-filled and benign as before? What emotional patterns am I holding on to that are creating these cysts? What are they and my Angels trying to teach/reveal to me through these cysts?
Noelle M.,
Valencia CA

Dear Noelle:
The growths that you have now are blessedly benign! You will experience these cysts from time to time when you become really stressed about your personal life and what it holds. The biggest issues that create the cysts—for you—are fear, lack of faith, impatience, and forgetting to bloom where you are planted. So, instead of choosing to be stressed or depressed, why not reinvest that energy into anticipation about all of the wonderful things that you have to look forward to in your personal life that are part of your upcoming destiny? When you communicate with your angels, which you should do on a weekly basis, they will be eager to remind you about all of the good things you have earned on the earthly plane that are in store for you...and that will certainly help with the stress.

----------------------------------------------------------

Dear Kim:
I have had physical challenges since I was a young child. Much of my life energy has been spent looking at and for the physical, psychological, and spiritual reasons for my symptoms. I recently received a diagnosis that seems to explain the physical. However, I don't know if it is complete, or how much my health contributes to my failure to live out my potential. I want to give more and fully express my true self. Are there physical, psychological and/or spiritual issues that I still need to be aware of? What has happened to my inspiration and motivation? A more specific but related question is whether or not to buy a computer or save the money for bills?
Sis K., 62,
Plainfield, Ill.

Dear Sis:
Your angels recommend that you buy a computer as soon as possible, because on a practical level, you really need one. You're going to use a computer in your new work, which I'll talk about in a moment. Sis, there is a big missing link in your life right now that centers around a lack of awareness about your life's work, and that's the reason why you do not feel that you've reached your full potential. It's hard to feel inspired or motivated by a life you've clearly outgrown, correct?

Interestingly, your health problems were designed to fuel your movement into your life's work...not derail it! Your destiny is to become a holistic healer who will help many others who have serious health conditions...just like you have! You will be able to relate to your clients so much better having experienced ill health, and they will be able to trust in you because they'll know that you have already journeyed along the path that they are now navigating. The key is to muster the strength and courage to heal yourself, and then you will have spiritually earned the opportunity to step into your life's work and begin to heal others. You will adore this work and you're going to be very good at it. The first step is to ask yourself if you really care about other people's endorsement or approval as you step out of the spiritual closet and declare yourself as a professional healer.
