Dear Kim:
My daughter had Leukemia when she was a child. She is 17 now---will she stay in remission?
Cheryle R., 46
Houston, Texas

Dear Cheryle:
Thankfully, I don't ever see the disease reemerging. The whole frightening experience was meant to be a catalyst for your daughter to set the goal of becoming a pediatric oncologist, which is a physician who specializes in treating children with different forms of cancer. Krissy is quite brilliant and is meant to make a huge difference to this earthly plane through her work. She can do it! Besides being bright and beautiful, she has a tenacious spirit once she sets her mind to something. She's going to save the lives of many children.

Dear Kim:
When we humans have gotten way off the right path and have done horrible things to our loved ones and ourselves, do we still get a chance to get back on the right path and complete our mission here on earth?
Sharon S.
Texas City, Texas

Dear Sharon:
Absolutely! Every day that we wake up and draw breath, we have the opportunity to straighten out our lives and make different choices. The earthly plane is like a spiritual book camp; we come back over and over again to learn to make better, wiser, more enlightened choices in our quest to "play nice with the other kids."

There are times, however, when we have a difficulty figuring out how to make better choices. That's the time to visit a good therapist. What's more, in addition to conventional therapy, being regressed through hypnosis into past lifetimes can shed amazing light on the healing that we need to conduct from prior traumas that are affecting our choices in the here and now

Dear Kim:
I've recently moved across country from Seattle to Corpus Christi after being widowed twice in less than five years. One husband drowned on Christmas Day 1998 and the other died from cancer on July 20, 2000. At this time I live with my mother, 75, in her condo. Should I buy a small house in a new Flour Bluff development even though I've no income? I want to open a small drive-through coffee stand. Do you think this is a good career path for me to continue?
Marlene M., 44
Corpus Christi, Texas

Dear Marlene:
We have a lot to talk about! First, it was a very good idea to leave Seattle and come to Corpus. There was nothing to tie you to the Pacific northwest, and you have security with your mom. You're still healing from sustaining the loss of two husbands before the age of 40, and at the same time, you're doing a marvelous job mustering the strength and courage that it takes to build a brand new life. I'm going to consider you one of my new role models!

Second, the coffee stand is going to go bust. You've heard the expression, "right church, wrong pew?" You are correct in your understanding that you are supposed to be an entrepreneur as part of your life's work---but instead of a coffee business, your angels recommend that you study Reiki so that you can open your own practice. You would love being a Reiki practitioner! You've conducted that work very successfully in past lives, and so you would have a natural ability.

Third, you'll be able to buy a home as soon as your Reiki business takes off; however, Flour Bluff is not a good idea. It's pretty, but you're going to be happiest if you bought 8-10 acres of wooded property with a lovely house situated somewhere in the middle. Your mom will move with you; and will remain living on your property after you marry again. (Yes, you have another man destined to come into your life!)

This situation will be ideal for you, Mr. Wonderful, and your mom. You have many exciting, fulfilling years ahead of you---think of this newest, most productive, happiest chapter of your life as just beginning!
